01 / How pricing works

Four rules. That's the whole model.

Whatever your team size, the four pieces below define the entire bill.

01

Per seat

Pay only for users who need access. No minimums, start with one.

02

Volume discounts

Price drops automatically as your team grows. Up to 16%, or up to 23% with the bundle.

03

Pay for what you use

Base packages include core tools. Add more only if you need them.

04

Monthly or annual

Month-to-month flexibility, or save 16.67% by paying annually (2 months free).

04 / One-time setup

Implementation costs.

One-time fees for installation and setup. The pilot program waives the MCP onboarding fee.

Required · MCP setup MCP onboarding From $500 one-time

Server setup, Claude Desktop configuration, and end-to-end testing. Required because the MCP server has firm-specific configuration that needs to be done correctly the first time. Fee scales by deployment size: 1–5 seats $500 · 6–15 seats $750 · 16+ seats $1,000.

Optional · As-needed Assisted deployment Hourly

Hands-on help with rollout, IT integration, custom training, or troubleshooting. pyRevit installs are simple enough that most firms self-install using the included guide. Hourly assistance is available for MCP troubleshooting or custom training. Billed in 30-minute increments.

05 / Common questions

Frequently asked.

If your question isn't here, send a note via the form below. Answers come from Eric directly.

Q · 01What's the difference between pyRevit and MCP?

pyRevit gives your team one-click buttons built directly into the Revit ribbon, best for repetitive tasks where the process is always the same. MCP is AI-powered and better suited for tasks where inputs vary, logic is required, or you want to give instructions in plain language. Many teams use both.

Q · 02Do I need to buy both products?

No, they are fully independent. Subscribe to one or both. If you subscribe to both, you get an additional 10% bundle discount on top of any volume discount that applies to your team size.

Q · 03What counts as a seat?

A seat is one active user. Each person who needs access requires their own seat. Seats are concurrent, so if someone closes Revit, their seat is released automatically within 20 minutes and becomes available for someone else.

Q · 04What happens if I add seats mid-month?

Added seats are prorated for the remainder of the current billing cycle. If you add 5 seats on day 15 of a 30-day cycle, you are charged for 15 days at the per-seat daily rate, then full price from the next cycle onward. Removing seats takes effect the following billing cycle with no credit for the current period.

Q · 05Can I cancel anytime?

Monthly subscribers can cancel with 30 days written notice. Service continues through the end of that billing cycle with no partial refunds. Annual subscribers are locked in for the 12-month term with no early termination or refunds.

Q · 06Why is MCP onboarding mandatory?

MCP requires proper configuration of the server, Claude Desktop, and tool connections to function correctly. The onboarding fee covers setup validation, end-to-end testing, and a training session — it exists to make sure your deployment actually works, not as an extra revenue line. Fee scales by team size: 1–5 seats $500, 6–15 seats $750, 16+ seats $1,000. Founding client pilots include onboarding at no charge.

Q · 07Is my Revit model or project data stored anywhere?

No. The system never accesses your model files, project content, or file paths. A small amount of operational data is collected for license management and tool usage analytics. Full details are in our Data Collection Disclosure.
